Student Recruitement Officer

FLIP is looking for creative and dedicated individual who will fit in a highly collaborative working culture. The incumbent is expected to be  self-motivated, independent with great learnability. FLIP is in high growth stage and in line with the expansion plans, we are in search of a Student Recruitment Officer.

The successful candidate will be connecting with  local, private and international schools to promote various programs and to handle recruitment for an overseas educational institution. There will be reasonable travel required both locally and in the Asean region.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct visits to middle schools, high schools and colleges and reach student groups, individual students and school counselors and administrators to promote outreach activities within assigned territory and as required to assist other recruiters.
  • Manage and coordinate career workshops and recruitment events
  • Provide accurate career and academic counseling and guidance to potential students on colleges, programs and qualifications.
  • Coordinates and implements various recruitment programs and marketing strategies for territorial or local on-site admission programs and special events to support recruitment efforts.
  • To participate in national and local college and schools’ recruitment fairs and to ensure all marketing materials and collaterals are ready for use.
  • To prepare reports and proposals and respond to inquiries from students.
  • Gather data, compile information, and prepare reports.

Requirements:

  • Able to work independently as the liaison person for coordination for all recruitment activities – recruitment; registration & student enrolment and financial aid and/or scholarship information and deadlines.
  • Ability to organize and execute marketing events from ground up – from operational, budgetary and onsite coordination with partners to ensure event is successful
  • Ability to make administrative/procedural decisions and judgments.
  • Organizing and coordinating skills.
  • Ability to use independent judgment and to manage and impart confidential information.
  • Ability to develop and deliver presentations and communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
  • Able  to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Able to plan, assess, and evaluate programs.
  • Program planning and implementation skills.
  • Knowledge of student recruitment and retention issues.
  • Skill in the configuration and use of computerized database programs.

Education Sales Manager

FLIP is looking for creative and dedicated individual who will fit in a highly collaborative working culture. The incumbent is expected to be  self-motivated, independent with great learnability. If you enjoy working in a team dynamic and believe in creating innovative solutions to problems in the education industry, we encourage you to apply.

FLIP is  in high growth stage and in line with the expansion plans, we are in search of a Education Sales Manager.

The successful candidate will be connecting with  local, private and international schools to promote FLIP  programs. Additionally, the incumbent will liaise with Ministry of Education on policy matters and  ensure smooth continuation of programs in government schools. The role will encompass frequent presentation to prospective students, parents and school counselors/principals, hence the candidate has to be confident in public speaking and posses great communication skills. Occasionally, the candidate will be required to pitch FLIP’s  programs and provide mentoring support, depending on the needs of the audience at any given time.

Responsibilities:

  • Designing and implementing a sales plan that expands company’s customer base and ensure it’s strong presence
  • To develop partnerships with school principals, career counsellors and to market FLIP programs in various schools & colleges-public, private & international
  • To develop partnerships with multiple government stakeholders
  • To develop and maintain contacts with key decision makers from educational institutions across the region.
  • To maintain databases and records (e.g. activity logs, phone logs, community resources, etc.) for the purpose of documenting activities, providing up-to-date reference and audit trail and/or ensuring the availability of items.
  • To be responsive to inquiries from a variety of internal and external sources (e.g. parents, students, teachers, staff, external agencies, etc.) for the purpose of providing information and/or direction as required.
  • Take lead in  public events  and exhibition.

Requirements:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications
  • Successful previous experience as a sales representative or sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
  • Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia, in writing and oral
  • Strong business sense and industry expertise
  • Ability to multi-task and manage various project elements
  • Computer literacy (Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point etc)

Project Manager

FLIP is looking for creative and dedicated individual who will fit in a highly collaborative working culture. The incumbent is expected to be  self-motivated, independent with great learnability. FLIP is  in high growth stage and in line with the expansion plans, we are in search of a Project Manager.

The successful candidate will be overseeing the execution of the program from commencement to completion. The candidate will also be required to liaise with Ministry of Education on policy matters and  ensure smooth continuation of programs in government schools

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate internal resources and third party for the flawless execution of projects
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
  • Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation
  • Develop a detailed project plan to track progress
  • Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs
  • Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
  • Report and escalate to management when required
  • Manage the client-relationship as well as with the project stakeholders
  • Apply risk management measures if necessary to minimize project risks
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation

Requirements:

  • Track record as a project administrator 
  • Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
